Pink, Yellow and Birds...and a Break

Hola, my lovelies! One last outfit and then I'll be taking some time off!
I see the future and it involves rest
I don't take breaks too often, but it's time.
  • Blouse - Tory Burch, consignment; last worn here in May with velvet jeans
  • Pants - Ralph Lauren, consignment; last seen here a week ago with olive
  • Shoes - Karl Lagerfeld; last worn here (4th outfit) over the weekend for Vero's party

Don't worry, though - I have a special series of posts scheduled for when I'm away! I'm going to take moderation off so that you can chat about it in the comments (behave yourselves, hee hee).

I have a WW meeting tonight, and since I've spent the day doing chores around the house and napping (of course), I went very simple with this outfit - I'll only be wearing it for a couple of hours.
"I'm the best accessory."
Comfy pants for walking and standing, a silk blouse (the pattern is birds!) for sunblocking.

The stuff:
I've quickly grown to love these shoes. I like how bright yellow and pink look together.

  • Earrings - vintage Bakelite, vintage fair

I'll be back, you can count on it! In the meantime, watch for a post every couple of days - I hope you like blue.

  3. Enjoy your break Sheila! You blog so regularly and consistently that a break is well-deserved. You will be missed, so I'm looking forward to the posts you have planned!

I love the pink and yellow together in this outfit too - I was just convincing myself an outfit I had in mind wouldn't work when you've reminded me how good these colours look together, how silly of me to have dismissed my outfit at first!
