I have what my mom calls "Horse to the barn syndrome" - I'm so looking forward to our long Canada Day weekend, and every day closer makes me want to get there more! Nearly there...And time to break out this lovely patterned dress.
- Dress - Rachel Roy, thrifted; purchased here last weekend for $6.00
- Shoes - Prepare Guide, Fluevog; last seen here in May with the jelly-deer
I loved wearing this dress today - it swooshed delightfully.
And my hat! Since I coloured my hair the other night, I've committed to myself to wear a hat to keep the colour from fading out (it turns pink from the sun).
Secret turquoise bling:
- Star Trek magnetic badge - MoPop gift shop
- Turquoise ring - local
- Shield ring - Nine West
- Earrings - Mango's
I'm going to be enjoying my weekend and taking a few days to chill and hang out with friends. To all my Canadian friends, Happy 150th Birthday to Canada, and happy Canada Day! To my US friends (who are surely getting a head start this weekend), a very happy 4th of July!
Oh wow a hat that turns pink the sun... it surely sounds interesting.ReplyDelete
Lovely dress and wonderfully accessorised with turquoise. Enjoy your holiday !
No, no, my HAIR COLOUR turns pink in the sun! Thank you, my dear!ReplyDelete
That's a beautiful dress and I like the turquoise with it! Enjoy your holiday - no holiday here but we do have a Brisbane day coming up in August, one of the Wednesdays, that I know you won't get off. :)ReplyDelete
Thanks, Mica! A holiday on a Wednesday? I hope you take an extra-long weekend!Delete
Love the printed bird dress! I adore small prints and dresses with pockets are a bonus! Love the turquoise shoes, so much fun, and that wee bird, what a cute little creature!ReplyDelete
always a pleasure being on your page Sheila!
Happy Canada Day!
Thanks, Elle! Thanks so much for visiting!Delete
The turquoise accessorizing is fab and right up my street. Patience is a virtue they say, but it's not something I have much of either!ReplyDelete
Thank you! Nah, it's not one of my virtues either!Delete
