Merry Everything! Unlike 90% of my office, I was at work today. What to do for the last day?
- Dress - Max & Co.; last seen here (2nd outfit) in October (same purple tights/belt)
- Boots - BCBG Max Azria; last worn here a couple of weeks ago with a pink tiger dress
- Coat (below) - Samuel Dong, thrifted
I figured it would be very quiet today - and it was. My awesome boss brought in two giant bottles of Baileys for our coffee, which made the morning zoom by. I don't think I've ever hugged so many of my coworkers. I shocked some of them (I am not a hugger), but after being at the company for nearly 6 years, I'm finally comfortable enough to hug.
I wore this hat instead. It's by Liz Claiborne (thrifted).
- Belt - Plum
- Star Trek Voyager badge - MoPop gift shop
- Earrings - vintage fair
- Cuff - Midzo, vintage fair
My awesome quartet of Vice Presidents spoiled me this year. Two bottles of single malt scotch! Wow! I had a drink with my boss before I left early (thanks, Boss!).
I was at work yesterday too, but it was worth it as now I have a week off! Love the sparkly dress! Merry Everything to you too, Sheila xxxReplyDelete
I hope you enjoyed your week off, my dear! Merry Everything!Delete
You do look festive and sparkly and space accessories give it all that extra zing...ReplyDelete
Have a fabulous festive break and see you on the other side!
Thanks so much, Veronica! Enjoy your time off!Delete
Oh la la those are some fabulous scotches...I do not drink scotch but Mr. Hb does and he approves of those single malts! Happy Holidays!ReplyDelete
Yes, they are lovely, I was much impressed! Happy holidays, Leslie!Delete
Merry Everything back at you, Sheila, and L too! That's sure one hollidazzle dress. Baileys in your coffee is definitely a wonderful work perk as well. And a non-bundling coat, but a beauty just the same. The snow is gone from here at last - at least for now. Have a great break!!!ReplyDelete
Thanks, Melanie! Thank goodness we seem to have gotten past this snow trend!Delete
Stunnng outfit -- Merry Christmas, Sheila.ReplyDelete
Thank you, Cynthia, Merry Christmas to you!Delete
The dress is cute and the boots are sexy, so this is a clever combination, one that again only a fashionista would be brave enough to carry off Sheila.ReplyDelete
Wishing you a fab holiday!
Thanks, dear Anna! Happy holidays to you!Delete
Merry happy! We're a Christmas and Hanukkah household, so this year has been a little hectic as the two holidays coincide.ReplyDelete
Thank you for bringing so many smiles to my year with your lovely posts and photos.
Happy Christmas and Hanukkah, JS! Here's to another year!Delete
Perfect outfit for the last day before your holiday and the end of sparkle season! It sounds like you have really nice coworkers. I had forgotten you had that badge, I was confused thinking it was a star trek one at the start and just waiting to scroll down and see where it was from, ha!ReplyDelete
Hope you're having a wonderful Christmas.
Thanks so much, Mica! I have lovely coworkers, who spoil me. :) I hope you're enjoying your hols downunder!Delete
Merry Christmas! Sparkle on, my friend.ReplyDelete
Sparkle on, Ally! Merry Christmas to you!Delete
Shine on Sheila!ReplyDelete
Love this dress and the attitude, too! The little bits are pretty too!
Baileys in coffee for the morning meeting, now that is a great idea!
Drinks afterwards, too, you are on to something,
I am sure of it.
But the dress is the thing, and the smiling beauty who is wearing it!
Merry, happy and Cheers!
Thank you, Elle! It's been lovely getting to know you this year! Happy Everything!Delete
Well look at you hugger, you certainly looked sparkly and beautiful.ReplyDelete
Hee, I was temporarily a hugger, yes. :) Thank you, Lorena!Delete
I wish my boss gave out Scotch at Christmas! I got some chocolate instead, and hugs from co-workers. That dress and teal coat are two of my favourites from your closet.ReplyDelete
It is a pretty nice gift! And it sure lasts longer than chocolate. Thanks, Shelley! They are favourites of mine as well.Delete
