Fatigued Friday in Comfy Clothes

Hello, my friends! I cancelled Mom-Day yesterday just in case my allergies were something else - I would never want to risk Mom's health. I spent Thursday mostly sleeping.
Whateley kept me company while I did my pictures, but he's not as good at posing as Barnabas - he kept moving his head.

  • Denim jacket - Kenzo Jeans (part of a skirt-suit), consignment; last seen here in March 2025 with burgundy
  • Iggy Pop 2023 tour shirt - not tracked
  • Mesh top - Noisy May, consignment; last worn here in January with double denim and velvet
  • Skirt - St. John, thrifted; last seen here in December 2025 for Book Club
  • Boots - Doc Martens, consignment; last worn here in January for a thrift shop
  • Sleeveless coat (below) - Only, thrifted; last seen here in February

I wore just the jacket of my Kenzo skirt-suit (the skirt is a smidge snug), and fell back on one of my tried-and-true outfits: band tee + skirt and boots + groovy jacket.
So much easier and very comfy for a quiet day in the office, although I was super-busy all day and got rather whiny near the end.

I walked to work, and it wiped me out, so I hopped a bus home.
Just dashing off a quick post for y'all, so you're not worried about me (I'll be right as rain soon, I'm sure).

The stuff:
Same purple stuff I've had forever.

  • Suede/leather purse - Soruka, thrifted, Powell River
  • Wool beret - consignment
  • Leather gloves - Danier Leather
  • Brooch - Sarah Coventry, vintage fair

Purple and silver bling:
All favourites, although I don't wear the long crystal necklace that often (it's very heavy).

  • Belt - gift from Ruth, c. 2006
  • Zipper rose - Victoria & Albert Museum gift shop
  • Silver S bracelet - Mexican, consignment, Sidney
  • Carved jadeite bangle - consignment
  • Silver/amethyst ring - vintage mall
  • Silver loopy ring - consignment, Sidney
  • Silver chain ring - Mexican, consignment
  • Earrings - c. 1996
  • Crystal necklace - thrifted, Vancouver
  • Amethyst pendant - gift from Mom & Dad, c. 1994

Leaving you for the weekend with pics of our little cuties.
Barnabas was sleeping under my robe while I chatted with Mom. Maybe he'd like some company for another nap?

And Whateley peered out of me from inside the box (that's his handiwork, chewing on the "window").
"I feel safe in here."

Signing off for the weekend - thank you for being here!

  1. Wishing you less stuffy and sneezy days ahead! Allergies suck. But long PANK skirts rule.
