Black Jeans and Ruffled Jacket

Oh, is it Monday already? That weekend was way too fast, thank goodness for a short work-week and a long weekend in the future!
Just playing around in my closet and wondering if I could get away with black jeans in the office. (I could and did).

  • Jacket - Royal Underground, consignment, Powell River; last worn here in January with leopard
  • Silk blouse - Pierre Cardin, vintage 60s, consignment; last seen here in December 2025 under a dress
  • T-shirt - Karl Lagerfeld, consignment; not tracked
  • Jeans - Scotch & Soda, thrifted; last worn here (2nd outfit) in November 2025 for a walk with Betty
  • Shoes - Marquis Swordfish, Fluevog; last seen here (2nd outfit) a couple of weeks ago with my newest embroidered jacket
  • Suede coat (below) - Danier Leather, consignment; last worn here in October 2025

I layered one of my sleeping tees under this open vintage silk blouse, then layered my black ruffled jacket over that.
Easy shoes. This was a very comfortable outfit.

I didn't shed the jacket, but I could have.
I went to a retirement send-off for a longtime, beloved colleague (Hi, Gord!) after work.

So many of my former coworkers - including my dear boss Tony! - were there.
I hopped a bus home in the bright sunshine.

Don't be fooled, it was COLD out there. This suede outer layer protected me from the wind.
It's nearly April, and I am READY for spring to be here.

The stuff:
Have I ever worn this scarf? I can't remember.

  • Silk scarf - thrifted
  • Gloves - Parkhurst

Minimal bling:
I wasn't in the mood for more.

  • Belt - Leatherworld
  • Buckle - Shi Studio, thrifted
  • Frank Turner pin - tour merch
  • Silver/crystal ring - Soul Flower
  • "Leafy" silver ring - consignment
  • Silver/red enamel ring - antique shop, Sidney
  • Silver/obsidian ring - consignment
  • Silver earrings - Israeli, consignment
