I also was 100% positive it was black...but it's navy blue, sigh. I'm not a massive fan of navy blue.
Castle view, as I haven't shared one for a while.
The weather's been mostly like this - white from smoke haze. The sun burns through every so often, and sometimes it's more grey.
Back to the outfit - the blazer/bomber jacket. All very classy in the front, although that's a very high crop. The white line you're seeing is a raw edge (you know I love them, your tastes may differ).
I think I might like the IDEA of this more than the actuality. I'll have to try it with my fall/winter stuff.
Let's have a look at the back. All black nylon, with a couple of deep pleats at the back of the neck.
The backs of the sleeves are also nylon, and the cuffs are half-blazer/half-rib cuffed, but I rolled them twice to show my sleeves (also rolled) and bracelets.
I didn't take the bomblazer (of course that's the name) off, but I could have!
I love this bright sheer blouse - it goes with a lot in my closet. I have a pale yellow cotton tank under it. Incognito.
The stuff:
I was sure I wore these sandals already once this season, but I can't find them anywhere. Huh. I did like wearing bright neon socks with them.
I only buttoned the bomblazer while I walked home, but it rode up quite a lot with my knapsack. Noted for next time.

Now that's an excellent outfit, Sheila, although I do get you're not completely sold on the bomblazer (great name!) - yet!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the copper bling - you do have the most wonderful collection - and the neon socks worn with the sandals! xxx
Thank you, Ann! I think the bomblazer will work better over a dress maybe, or if I pair it with something deliberated lower (or higher) in the waist. I want to try it with my Red Valentino "Boss" pants.
DeleteI was rather chuffed with the socks and sandals!
Good lord woman, only fabulous YOU would be able to pick up such a weird item as the bomblazer and make it work. Work?………you made a stunningly fun and funky outfit with it! I bow down to you Goddess of creativity, colour and visual joy. An inspiration as always, thankyou Sheila xxx
ReplyDeleteI think you know me well enough by now, Leanne, to know that I am DRAWN to the weird! Aw, that is so kind of you - I wasn't entirely happy with the outfit, but I still really like the bomblazer.
DeleteGorgeous colours, I particularly love the socked-up toe peeking out from beneath the trouser hems. Your copper and turquoise collection is wonderful. I agree about the bomblazer's length being slightly off but it doesn't stop it from being a great outfit! x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Vix! I know, I am charmed by socks and sandals! Yeah, I'm giving the bomblazer another shot - I know I can get it right.
