Monday calls for pink. Because why not?
Bam! In your face, Monday, you nasty thing.- Vest - Edit by Jeanne Bekker, consignment; purchased here on the weekend for $25.00
- Blouse - no labels, thrifted; last seen here in March with a purple jerkin
- Skirt - Evan Davies, vintage 80s, thrifted; last worn here in January with all the jewels
- Shoes - Esoteric Temptations Odette, Fluevog; last worn here in March with grey and green
I didn't mind the vest as a layering piece - I liked how the front hung down in points, echoing the pointy shoes. Maybe over a slimmer-cut top next time. Otherwise, good.
I'm a major fan of this candy pink colour. Woo!
The stuff:
I'm a huge fan of these super-pointy shoes. This was my first time wearing them barefoot/barelegged, so I was cautious with any rubbing. They started to rub my heel around 3pm, so back to the shiny metallic pink runners I went for the rest of the day. Blisters, bah! Who needs 'em?
Blue bling:
Circle, circle, rectangle.
- Belt - Nygard
- Earrings - Caracol
- Lapis lazuli ring and Fulvia Ring - Wendy Brandes
I'm sweaty from the gym and famished! I'm outta here!
Oops, almost forgot:
Got shoes? Share 'em! See you midnight Friday!
That vest! it makes me feel like dancing. You look fab, hope your day is just as great. xox
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great skirt! Not just the color but also the material and cut. This is what I plan to wear when I'm reincarnated as you. :-)
ReplyDeleteYour outfit description reminds me of the fragrance I had to present last week ;)
ReplyDeleteLove that pink leather skirt - no one wears a leather skirt as well as you, Sheila! And a sparkly waistcoat too, fabulous. xxx
ReplyDeleteBam to Monday in loud pink skirt. Yesss. I love those pointy shoes too. And, sequins are alway a great help, for anything.
