I'm always in a rush, it seems. No time to stand and stare.
Who's staring? Not me!- Sweater - Talbots, consignment; purchased here for $25.00
- Skirt - Noa Noa; last seen here in July 2014 with my ex-kimono top
- Floofy underskirt - Noa Noa, last worn here in September 2014 under a Desigual dress
- Shoes - Franco Sarto, thrifted; purchased here for $6.00
I had a lot of compliments on this colour combo. There is something about chartreuse and blue - it always works well.
I love the painty texture of the skirt.
The stuff:
I waggled my feet at my coworkers and bragged about my $6.00 shoes all day. These were pretty comfy - not too high for working in. They would be nicer if they were leather, as they rubbed slightly at the toe by 2:30pm.
Blurry bling:
Tired...
- Necklace - Nygard, consignment
- Cuff - Midzo, vintage fair
- Ring - cheap store in the late 90s
And although I'm tired, it's off to the gym!
Those colors are good together and great $6 shoes. Leather is always a litter better because it's usually a little more forgiving.
ReplyDeleteOooh add me to the list of people giving you compliments on the colour combination - it's great! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad the shoes are so good for you, especially for such a bargain price of $6! hopefully they rub a little less the more you wear them.
Agreed - these colors look great together, and on you. Nice score on the shoes! xox
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed these colours go wonderfully well and WOW 6.00 USD shoes ! that's my kind of pair.
ReplyDeleteThat really is a great colour combination (though the skirt looks more of a gold on my screen). Chartreuse or gold, who cares? It's fabulous! xxx
ReplyDeleteSheila, I think the only way to see you at normal speed would be to video you and play it back at slow motion. I'm breathless just reading how busy you are. But at least you look stellar. Shoes for 6 bucks? High five.
