Y'all know how I like to get in my wearing right away with something new-to-me.
- Ruched sheer top - no label, thrifted; last seen here in February under a t-shirt
- Cotton cropped top - Atelier Delphine, thrifted; last worn here in August with a pleated skirt and white shirt
- Skirt - Cleo, thrifted; purchased here for $12.95
- Suede boots - Coach, consignment, Vancouver; last seen here (2nd outfit) in March for a Saturday brunch
- Leather studded jacket (below) - Michael Kors, consignment; last worn here in February with brocade and roses
It's been a bit cooler the last day or so, enough to wear boots and not feel overly warm.
I layered my mesh shirt - this one's ruched in rows, very cool - under an olive green cotton cropped top.
I like showing off the hem of the top.
So cool. It's the same on the back. Silver bling:
The snake ring is hiding on the necklace - it doesn't pose properly.

An old treehouse near Mindy's house. An end-of-night selfie in front of an octopus print (8 arms, 8 of us!).

No kitty pictures - I wasn't home long enough!

Yay as it looks like the skirt is a keeper! I like how by simply making a cutout in the front and back centers of the green cropped top all of sudden a solid top becomes an interesting piece. That was an artsy find!
ReplyDeleteY'all look so delighted in the book club photo. :-) Who chose which book to read next?
We had 92° F yesterday with strong sun and today we have rain and 60°F; the roller coaster of spring weather. ;-)
Fred was quite impressed that a queen size bed completely covered with clothes was spaciously organized into my spanking brand new armoire that he graciously assembled for me. I am so PSYCHED! It is now easy to see all of my clothes due to space and access to light. Yay!!! Cheers from a contented Laurie :-)
Right? That's the kind of details I'm always looking for. A plain top probably wouldn't last very long.
DeleteWe have a Picker List, so we know when our turn is coming, and we think about what we want to pick (it's a secret!). The new people (Rosanna and Jenn) are coming up on their first picks, and they are feeling the pressure!
Oh, that is so exciting! A big armoire! Enjoy all your space!!
Ah, thanks for the explanation of how your book club makes its selections. That’s a cool approach and I imagine makes it possible to experience a wide variety of authors and genres.
DeleteCheck out your 17 June 2018 post. :-)
It took me the better part of the day to populate the armoire and I thought of you during your closet change overs. Suffice it to say I thoroughly enjoyed myself. :-) Cheers, Laurie
HA!! "We walked to the waterfront at Dallas Road, along to Beacon Hill Park. We climbed to the top of the hill, then walked down through the park itself, admiring the flowers, ducks and greenery. It's a lovely park."
DeleteYou're totally right! A good example of "If I don't have a picture, I don't remember it!" :D
