Loose Leopard, Work and Play

Hello, my friends! Today's outfit had to do double-duty, as I went almost directly from work to dinner before our last Belfry Theatre show of the season.
It was another hot day, so I chose this easy loose dress that I picked up last week.

  • Dress - Marc Cain, thrifted; purchased here for $19.95
  • Shoes - Catalyst Shapers, Fluevog; purchased and first worn here in April in Vancouver

I belted it - it's WAY too loose to be worn without a belt (kinda like my Kenzo tiger dress).
I wish I'd picked better socks - I switched to my sheer black ones when I got home after work.

See?
Much better.

Incognito, and wearing my matchy Courreges silk scarf for hair/sun coverage.
I layered an olive green camisole under it, and a black half-slip on the bottom, as the dress is VERY sheer.

The stuff:
Good comfy shoes for 14+ hours!

  • Leather purse - Allibelle, consignment
  • Silk scarf - Andres Courreges, vintage, consignment

Silver bling:
Some loopy things

  • Belt - gift from Ruth
  • Silver S cuff - Mexican, consignment, Sidney
  • Filigree cuff - St. Paul's Cathedral gift shop, London
  • Silver chain ring - Mexican, consignment
  • Silver poison ring - Karen's
  • Silver earrings - Israeli

The play was "Casey and Diana" (summary here, local paper here), and I knew going in it would be both uplifting and sad.
From left: Greg, Rosanna, Carolyn, Cat, me, Yvonne, Randall.

Much love to my theatre buddies. We stashed paper napkins from the table in our purses (Carolyn and I sat side-by-side, sniffling away).

I had some love from Whateley in the brief period between getting home after work and leaving again for dinner:
"Ah, right there."

He's not shy.
"And there."

Barnabas was on patrol.
"I see squirrels!"

What good boys!
