Cerulean Silk and Bits of Black

Another dress? Yup - I have a lot of them left to wear in my closet this season, although the last couple of weeks have put a good dent in the backward hangers. If only the weather would cool off enough to wear tights, so I can get some of my shorter skirts worn!
This cerulean, brown, pink and black/white dress is finally getting worn.

  • Dress - No. 6 Store, consignment; last worn here in July 2024 with pink velvet shoes
  • Shoes - Summertime Moonbeams, Fluevog, consignment; last seen here a few weeks ago

Another reader favourite, I believe! It's one of my faves too.
It was another hot day, so the 100% silk was nice and light.

I love the colours in this - they easily suggest alternate accessories.
In the 6 times I've now worn this, I've never repeated my belt, shoes/boots or accessories.

Incognito.
The scarf was handy for my walk - it covered my back against the sun.

Accoutrements and stuff:
I enjoyed clomping around the office in my wood-soled shoes. The bits of black in my accessories helped make me feel badass.

  • Silk scarf - Banana Republic, consignment
  • Belt - Roxy, vintage 90s, thrifted

Mismatched bling:
I started with the necklace and went from there.

  • Leather/metal bracelet - Jenny Bird, consignment
  • Leather/brass wrist-wrap - Kipling, thrifted
  • Brass leopard ring - thrifted
  • Amber square ring - sidewalk find
  • Wooden ring - Dots
  • Stone ring - thrifted
  • Silver/amber necklace - vintage 1920s, consignment
  • Earrings - thrifted

I need to keep some of my amber out for summer wear - I missed having them to wear with this necklace.
