My office hosted VIPs, which is a lot of work, making sure it all goes smoothly for them. I even (willingly) gave up some of my lunch to my boss's boss as nothing in Victoria is open for breakfast before 11am. "We're a brunch town," I said, as I made him yoghurt and kiwi fruit.

This is my third wearing of this tweed vest, and I think I finally figured out the funny sash/velvet trim. I buttoned it (giving the vest good shape), then pinned the two sashes closed, which kept the flapping down to a dull roar.
Boss Pants! The proportion changes when I move, as the vest is split on the sides to the waist. I love the big pockets. No sunnies - it was gloomy and dark when I walked to the office, and as I worked late, it was dark when I bused home.
This is the height of neon matchiness. I love it!

My coworkers liked the green bracelet and the necklace. Kristina was gobsmacked when I showed her the three-way necklace.

Never mind the traffic, this doe and her offspring took their sweet time crossing the road. I felt like a tourist - DEER!
There's the buck. I see him in our hood all the time, often in our front yard.

Yvonne hosted, and it was amazing as always. We discussed "The Midnight Library" by Matt Haig (I thought it was an easy read, but predictable), and Mindy handed out our next book, "The God of the Woods" by Liz Moore.
From left: me, Cat, Rosanna, Mindy being hugged by Caro, Yvonne, Ciara and Jenn. Love you all!

What a goober.
No Mom-Day tomorrow, my friends (send Helen good vibes for her dentist appointment!), so wrapping up for the weekend a little early. Please do pop by on Sunday for tales of adventure! Thanks so much for being here.
