Last Outfit of the Season: Teal Suit and Neon Yellow

My friends, the next time you see me, the spring/summer closet swap-over will be completed! I'm off for the next five days, and that's my main goal.
Today's outfit was armour against the mountain of work that awaited me.

  • Suit - Soaked in Luxury; last worn here in January with gold
  • Mesh top - Mexx, vintage 90s, thrifted; last seen here in January, the first time I wore these shoes
  • Shoes - Classy Bach, Fluevog; last worn here in February with my Gigli dress
  • Coat (below) - Banana Republic, consignment; last seen here (3rd outfit) in February

I'll be keeping all of this out for spring/summer.
This is a year-round suit.

I didn't take the jacket off, but I was prepared.
Just in case the weather suddenly got nice.

But no, just me in the suit.
Colleague Nour liked that I matched my glasses to the outfit - I always do that!

I had trouble getting me coat away from Barnabas.
"I like this bed!"

I've already given you my Ralph Lauren poncho, buddy. You can't have this.

Hoping for sunshine.
It did come...

...but it was "liquid sunshine."
I got soaked on the way home! But we're supposed to get hot days this weekend, woo hoo!

The stuff:
I wore my new-to-me zebra brooch on my coat.

  • Silk scarf - Krizia, thrifted
  • Gloves - consignment, Powell River
  • Zebra brooch - vintage fair; purchased here for $20.00

Mixed bling:
Gold, silver, blue, turquoise. It all goes.

  • Belt - consignment
  • Gold bangle - thrifted
  • Silver/turquoise bangle - consignment
  • Fulvia ring and lapis lazuli ring - Wendy Brandes
  • Silver/kyanite ring - consignment
  • Wood/acrylic ear-balls - Zsiska, thrifted
  • Bug brooch - Le Chateau, c. 1999
  • Dolphin crystal brooch - vintage fair, purchased here for $20.00

I took a few pictures last night on my way to Cat's for Book Club.
A Cat of Fernwood! Thank you for safe passage.

This little Whateley-look-a-like girl was snug.
Aw, what a lovely little house.

She's on the front porch of this old Victorian-era house.
I admired this rock/succulent garden.

Rosanna (sorry for cutting your head off) wore the amazing trousers she thrifted on our shopping trip last weekend:
They are personalized "Flower Club: Members Only" - she wore Flower Club to Book Club, I love it!

A fabulous view of the Castle.
See, it doesn't always rain.

Barnabas and Whateley were on Bathroom Patrol this morning.
"Whateley's in the tub!"

He was! Whateley, what are you up to in there?
"I was inspecting!"

Well, there you have it!

I'll be taking a bit of a break for a day or three, while I get the closet done. No Mom-Day (but she's doing great!), so enjoy all these pictures. Thank you, as always, for being here!
