Here's Friday's work outfit - I couldn't wait any longer to wear one of my favourite skirts, this flouncy netting beauty.
It's very vampire-ish.
- Ruched mesh top - thrifted; last seen here in August under a Kenzo dress for Mom-Day
- Lace dragon top - Luna Moon, consignment, Powell River; first worn here in August with bronze pleats
- Skirt - Twinset, consignment; last seen here in March in a Spring Goth outfit
- Boots - 2.0 Tracker Prepare, Fluevog; last worn here (2nd outfit) in November 2025 for my company's holiday party
- Patent leather jacket (below) - Burberry, consignment, Vancouver; last seen here (3rd outfit) in October 2025 for a shopping expedition to Turnabout
I also wanted to wear this red lace top again.
It was cool enough to need a jacket, but not so cold I needed to be bundled up.
I love this patent leather Burberry jacket so much, even though it doesn't button up anymore.

That's okay, I can wear it open just fine!
I didn't even need the scarf or gloves on the way home.
My boots are higher than my walking shoes, so I ended up with some company on the way to work.
The skirt is a leaf-catcher! Look at all the sticks and leaves I picked up.
I had the same on the way home.

These boots were still good for my feet. They only LOOK high!
- Silk bug scarf - Smoking Lily, 1997, gift from Janet
- Gloves - Parkhurst
I loved wearing this claw cuff again. All of my jewelry was so dramatic - my colleagues loved it.
- Leather/gold cuff - Ambush "Holy Mountain" collection, 2012, consignment, Vancouver
- Hinged Lucite/gold "fang" bracelet/earrings - Alexis Bittar, consignment, gift from L
- Gold shark jaw bracelet - Tom Binns, 2012, consignment
- Gold/silver cobra ring - vintage fair
- Brass ring - vintage mall
The boys held a meeting.
They would like the deck doors open again. Sorry, only when it's sunny, boys, and only during the day. Whateley inspecting the tub.
I hope it meets your expectations, buddy. There was quite a scramble when L turned on the shower on Saturday morning, and "someone" was still in there inspecting, ha ha. Whateley got a little wet...

I had a gift card from Mom just burning a hole in my pocket, and Fluevog just launched a 3-day 20% off sale, so I went in to the store after work on Friday and had a look in person at the pair that caught my eye.
They're the Modvog Santoro with green pony hair (which we all know is from a cow), a men's style.

I love the dark slate grey around the ankle, the studs all over, the strap and the shape.
But that hairy green? Oh my heart. I can think of so many things that will go with these.

A look at the hairiness.
These were $599.00 (YEOWTCH), but with the temporary discount and the generous gift card from Mom, these ended up $336.70 out of my pocket. I paid for them from my last Limbo sale profits, isn't that awesome?

On Friday night, L and I chilled and enjoyed boardgames and music, and hanging with the cats.
"I'm under the couch!"
He doesn't really fit under there like he used to.
Whateley was determined to get at my faux fur and feathers, all hidden away up high on our bar.
"I want this all back the way it was."
After Sunday, buddy!
We were up early on Saturday - L had Ulti, and I had to get ready for brunch, groceries and a double-vote (city/municipal and advanced voting provincially). If you don't vote, you can't complain (and I do love to complain).
I knew I might be standing around in line for a while, after walking to the polls (close to each other in our 'hood, fortunately), plus I know my city and wanted to be presentable and interesting for the volunteers working. - Suede jacket - Pioneer Wear, vintage 80s, thrifted; last seen here in January
- Eames tee - SPRZNY, thrifted; last worn here (2nd outfit) to go shopping with Ariana in May
- Mesh top (below) - Jean Paul Gaultier, consignment; last seen here in September for Mom-Day
- Leather skirt - River Island, consignment; purchased here for $125.00
- Boots - Original Sabado, Fluevog; last worn here (2nd outfit) in September with my Kenzo tiger dress
I took the jacket off while we had brunch at John's Place with Nick.
I liked the mix of copper, gold, silver and blues.
I looked like this most of the time.
We had a beautiful sunny day, although a bit windy as it often is here.
Incognito.
The scarf moved to my purse strap and the gloves into my bag.
I did do the jacket up for walking.
All that fringe made me feel good.
Other folks really liked it too.
There are coloured pony-beads on the sleeves.
The stuff:
Excellent walking boots - I added a sport insole into them just after I bought them.
- Leather purse - vintage 80s, thrifted
- Scarf - thrifted
- Gloves - Principles, vintage 90s, thrifted
Mixed bling:
All the metals! I'd forgotten about this belt! - Belt - vintage, consignment
- Silver S cuff - Mexican, consignment, Sidney
- Mixed metal/leather cuff - Jenny Bird, consignment
- Amber ring - c. 1996
- Silver/lapis lazuli ring - Wendy Brandes
- Necklace - Fifth Ave Collection (FAC), thrifted, Sidney
- Twisty earring - Justine Clenquet, consignment, gift from L
- Long earring - Chan Luu, consignment
Me and L in line to vote.
Forever rocking on! I'll have a bunch of pictures of the Limbo Sale, as well as my prep work, on Monday. See you then, and wish me luck!
