Sweethearts Week: Red and Pink (and Black and White)

Happy Sweethearts Week, my friends! Today I paired pink and red, a favourite mix of mine since I was a kid.
Fancy boots, only revealed when I sat.

  • Wool/leather blazer - Smythe, consignment; last seen here in January 2025
  • Cotton sweater - Northern Reflections, thrifted; first worn here in December 2025 with flocked tulle (and these same boots)
  • Cotton corduroy pants - Diane Von Furstenberg, vintage 90s, thrifted, Seattle; last seen here in November in a "Jimi" outfit to chill with out Chosen Family
  • Boots - Jubilee Gladstone, Fluevog; last worn here in that January outfit
  • Leather coat (below) - Tibor, vintage 80s, consignment; first seen here in November 2025

I wanted to get in a wearing of this lovely black and white windowpane jacket.
It's been over a year since I wore it, which tells me I don't really reach for it. It's a good work-y blazer, but I have a kajillion other black jackets. Off to Limbo it goes.

I had the jacket off briefly due to being glowing from charging up the stairs to the office. Good cardio!
Isn't that a great colour combo? It reminds me of candy.

A lovely lady exclaimed over my outfit on the way to work - she loved all my colour.
And a shout-out to Kiki at LD, who stopped to ask about my lipstick (it's Quo, don't know the colour). Hello! Thanks so much for your kind compliments - you made my day!

The stuff:
My colleague Camille loved my boots - she had a great pair on herself!

  • Silk scarf - consignment, Powell River
  • Velour gloves - Thinsulate, thrifted

The stuff:
I went with gold/brass accents to match the gold buttons on the blazer.

  • Brass ball necklace - consignment
  • Lucite/gold bracelet/earrings - Alexis Bittar, consignment, gift from L
  • Hinged eelskin bangle - vintage 80s, thrifted
  • Wooden Klimt ring - consignment
  • Brass ring - vintage mall
  • Heart pin - consignment

Some random pictures of the kittens.

Whateley just flops wherever he feels like it.
"I'm tired of being walked on."

It's true, he blends into the carpet.

Barnabas does his Octopus pose on top of the scratching post.
"I'm an Octokitty!"

He's resting his tum on the platform, with both back legs and tail hanging off, and front legs on the house roof. What a weirdo!
