Long Leopard With Grey/Blue at the Theatre

Another week, but it's a short one! I have Friday off, so only one more day to go and it's another weekend for me.
I felt like I needed to go the opposite of red/pink. Grey and blue!

  • Blazer - Jacob, thrifted; first seen here in October 2024 with cow-print and cashmere
  • Crinkle top - Baden Baden, consignment; last worn here in November 2025 under my snake jacket
  • Skirt - Laundry by Shelli Segal, thrifted; purchased here for $13.00
  • Shoes - Big Presence Desmond, Fluevog; last seen here in December 2025 with floral and pink
  • Suede coat (below) - Tadmor, vintage 60s, vintage mall; last worn here in January

Yet another office-y blazer that I rarely wear. I bought this grey long-line blazer to replace one I used to have (a moth-eaten Vivienne Westwood)...and I never wear it. So guess what?? Off to Limbo it goes!
I still adore the black crinkle top, and this ultra-swooshy pleated blue leopard skirt really rang my bell.

If you didn't think it looked that swooshy, allow me to show it off.
It's massive!

Incognito.
It was a little on the chilly side today. Up-Island got snow!

The stuff:
I didn't do a lot of walking in the shoes, but they did look pretty peeking out from under the skirt.

  • Fur scarf - thrifted
  • Faux fur hat - M&S, consignment, Powell River
  • Leather gloves - Dots

Blue bling:
Every piece a favourite.

  • Rohesia Belt - Fluevog; last seen here in August 2025
  • Crystal bracelet - Swarovski, consignment, gift from L
  • Silver/lapis lazuli bracelet - Nepalese, consignment
  • Silver/kyanite ring - consignment
  • Fulvia Ring/lapis lazuli ring - Wendy Brandes
  • Glass earrings - local
  • Necklace - Heidi Daus, thrifted

I changed into walking boots when I got home and hoofed it to the Fernwood Inn where I met up with our pals for dinner before seeing the Belfry Theatre production of "Maanomaa, My Brother" (local preview here) which was very good.
The boots I bought specifically to beat them up!

  • Boots - Groovy Huysmans, Fluevog; last worn here in January for our trip to Powell River

I also switched from backpack to purse.
And there's the brooch I had on - I forgot to take it off my blazer lapel.

  • Purse - Coach, thrifted
  • Brooch - Boucher, vintage 60s, thrifted

Some of my lovely theatre people.
From left: Rosanna, Cat, Randall, Yvonne and me.

I took a couple of quick pictures of Rosanna's outfit because it was so amazing.
That's a Raphael of Canada copper necklace and an Etro blazer - both thrifted!

The dress is a shoulder-padded beauty from the 80s in a dark glitter green.
You can kind of see the low V on the hips - she bought this in Sidney on our big fall shopping trip.

This is for Bushlady who wanted to see when I used a bull-dog clip on my skirt. I tried to get a picture...
As you can see, I had help! The kittens were very excited to see me.

  1. Cutie kittens 😍. That is one heck of a skirt (in a good way).
