Teal and Gold Profesh

I wore a suit last week for casual, and another one this week for profesh.
Such an easy thing to wear! I just added a gold top, then gold everything else. Done!

  • Suit - Soaked in Luxury, Dots; blazer last worn here in November 2025 with this same top; full suit last seen here (3rd outfit) in September 2025 for Rifflandia
  • Top - April Cornell, thrifted; last seen here in December 2025 under a sequined cardigan
  • Shoes - Super Fine Cardinal, Fluevog; last worn here earlier this month for Tony and Alison's party
  • Cashmere/alpaca coat (below) - Mallia, consignment; last seen here in December 2025

I had company while I did my pictures. Barnabas really needed attention.
"I need love!"

Such a purry boy!

My colleagues admired the colour.
The gold shoes always get a lot of love.

Totally forgot my sunglasses, d'oh! It was dark when I was doing my pics.
But by the time I left the house it was sunny!

The stuff:
I'd nearly forgotten about this pretty velvet scarf.

  • Wool beret - thrifted
  • Velvet/fur scarf - thrifted
  • Heart pin - consignment
  • Leather gloves - Ralph Lauren, thrifted

Black bling:
I love all of these. The salamander pin was on my blazer lapel.

  • Chain belt - vintage, thrifted
  • Hinged eelskin bangle - vintage 80s, thrifted
  • Salamander brooch - gift from Cat
  • "Fang" gold/Lucite bracelet - Alexis Bittar, consignment, gift from L
  • Silver earrings - Chan Luu, consignment
  • Necklace - J. Crew, consignment
  • Brass ring - vintage mall
  • Brass/glass ring - Raphael of Canada, consignment

I had a detour on the way home and walked up the cat street.
"Who goes there?"

This big boy gave me a wide berth.

Snoozing Barnabas on the other computer chair.
This is his favourite spot in the house.

Whateley decided to join him.
"I'm squished!"         "Nonsense, there's plenty of room."

Silly boys.

  3. The suit styled with gold is genius! The teal and gold are interesting buddies and it feels like the gold ups the ante of an already amazing suit. The earrings are a pure delight. :-) Oh, and of course the kitties, as well. :-) Barnabas, I agree, Whateley seems to have smushed himself in there, eh!
    Cheers, Laurie

The boys like to snooze together, even if it's tight!

  5. This teal suit is beautiful and I like how you styled it with the lace top and the gold details. The shoes are so glam...and the statement scarf is giving Golden Age of Hollywood vibes. I love it.
Sending my regards to the kittens!
