Denim Jammy and Pink

I did not have enough energy to make an exciting outfit, so you know what that means: A Jammy Dress!
Oh, the colour is starting to go wonky...it's getting darker! And my province isn't doing Daylight Savings, so...enjoy the Stair Pic while it lasts.

  • Cotton sweater - Northern Reflections, thrifted; last seen here in September in a blast of colour
  • Denim dress - COS, consignment; purchased here for $34.20
  • Boots - Mellow Bebop, Fluevog; last worn here in March with pirate tulle
  • Sleeveless coat (below) - Only, thrifted; last seen here in March

This felt short as a dress. Would wear an extra skirt or swooshy pants with it next time.
Otherwise, I liked it - the pockets are good, and I liked the sleeves rolled to show the sweater. It has a lot of potential.

Incognito!
All the pink bits made me happy.

The stuff:
The little Glaring Cat blended into the dark denim dress. You can see his little eyeballs in the Stair Pic.

  • Silk F-This F-That scarf - Fluevog
  • Leather gloves - consignment
  • Cat pin - gift from Yvonne
  • Flower brooch - vintage 60s, Mom's

Silver bling:
I pulled Grandma's Mexican silver and obsidian bracelet out and mixed it in with my everyday pieces instead of leaving it in a jewelry box where I forget about it.

  • Cube silver/onyx bracelet - Mexican, consignment, Sidney
  • Hinged silver/obsidian bracelet - consignment, Sidney
  • Silver/Mexican obsidian faces/squares bracelet - Mexican, vintage 60s, Grandma J's
  • Silver/obsidian ring - consignment
  • Silver/onyx spider ring - c. 1986, gift from Mom & Dad
  • Silver snake ring - c. 1986, BC Museum gift shop
  • Hammered silver pinky ring - consignment, Sidney
  • Silver/onyx necklace - consignment, Powell River
  • Silver clip-on earrings - Mexican, consignment, Sidney

I will be back on Wednesday with a Two-Fer, as we have plans tomorrow!

  1. To my eye this is a perfect denim dress and it also looks warmish. With that said, it's nice to have room to layer a top underneath, which definitely adds to it looking warm and cozy. And the pockets are an added plus! I like the length or, to phrase that another way, to my eye it doesn't look too short on you. Of course, the wearer is the one who should always be pleased with what they are wearing! Cheers, Laurie
