Spring is on the way!
- Cotton sweater - Karl Lagerfeld, consignment; last seen here in March 2025 for a Mom-Day at Colquitz Creek
- Tweed wool skirt with studs - Miu Miu, consignment; last worn here (3rd outfit) in December 2024 on a shopping trip
- Leather boots - Baroque Velasquez, Fluevog; last seen here in December 2025 (way down in the party pictures) on Caro, and last seen here on me in December 2024
- Boucle wool/mink fur coat (below) - vintage 60s, thrifted; first worn here last week
It helps that it's not cloudy out.
Another cold, clear day! I'll take it!
I wanted to wear this tweed miniskirt - it's a chi-chi brand, and I adore the badass studs along the hem. I bookended it with ruffled burgundy.
"What are we doing?"
Someone's coming in for a visit!
I love the big floofy sleeves on this sweater. It's also a nice shape and colour.
"Pick me up!"
Oh, all right. He's such a little cuddle-monkey.
This is the second morning in a row. Whateley lurks around...The sleeves in my new coat are wide enough to hold the giant ruffles of the sweater.
It's something I have to factor in when I wear it.

The stuff:
These boots are so sweet. I still love them, even though I don't wear them as much as I used to.

Brutalist bling:
And now, Gentle Reader, I'm signing off for a short break - I'll leave you with some kitten pictures.
The sweater is also a good backdrop for some of my collection.
- Hinged pewter cuff - Robert Larin, vintage 70s, vintage mall, gift from L
- Tiled pewter and gold cuff - Robert Larin, vintage 70s, vintage mall, gift from L

- Square ring - thrifted
- Earrings - marked but illegible, vintage mall
- Pewter necklace - Robert Larin, vintage 70s, vintage mall, gift from L
The necklace was the first piece of Robert Larin that L bought me.
"That lady is cuddly!" "She throws paper balls adequately."
They keep me company while I'm writing.
Oh, that is the sweetest thing! Sending you all warm naps and furry hugs. I'll be back on Sunday with tales of adventure! See you then!
