Hello, and welcome back, Gentle Readers! Another week, but I'm ready for it, having given myself a good session in my closet on Sunday, preparing for the week ahead.
I've had these things hung together since I got the pink sweater - it matches the boots perfectly.
- Wool blazer - The Elite, vintage 80s, thrifted; last worn here in January with aqua and leopard
- Cotton sweater - Northern Reflections, thrifted; purchased here for $11.95
- Flocked skirt - no label, consignment; last seen here in September for a Mom-Day shop
- Boots - Jubilee Gladstone, Fluevog; last worn here in December 2024 with pink, gold and black
- Sleeveless coat (below) - Only, thrifted; last seen here in November
That made for an easy Monday outfit - all I had to do was add a bunch of accessories.
The sweater was excellent, worth every one of its twelve dollars. I enjoyed wearing the velvet flocked tulle skirt again too. The black wool blazer is incredibly beautiful and so well made.
Those buttons just kill me. Back detail!

Pops of pink! I was a little chilled in my sleeveless coat.
It's hovering in the single digits, but now rain has begun in earnest, and the humidity makes it colder - I feel it in my bones.

As I was about to leave in the morning, I turned around to find the boys on the hall-tree.
"This bag has to stay." "And you can't leave without this one!"
Oh, sweet kittens, I'm so sorry to leave you!
