As I mentally noted when I bought this top last weekend, I can totally make it almost-winter-appropriate just by layering a top under it!
- Silk blend top - Marni, consignment; purchased here for $52.50
- Sparkly turtleneck - Jacob, thrifted; last seen here (2nd outfit) a week or so ago, layered under silk
- Skirt - St. John, thrifted; first worn here in December 2024 with gold lace and black suede
- Boots - Mellow Bebop, Fluevog; last seen here (2nd outfit) in October with regret-me-nots
- Leather coat (below) - Jeno de Paris, vintage 70s, thrifted; last worn here for a Mom-Day in March
You can't see it here, but I have black tights on to echo the black turtleneck - the skirt has a high side-slit for walking.
The offset "fin" in the back.
The skirt is a lovely stretchy knit in my favourite shade of strawberry ice cream pink.

And then I went Full Elf!
I had to pick something in case it rained even more torrentially - we had massive storms and dumps of rain all night.

I took a selfie inside while I waited for the restaurant to open.
We had a delicious dinner, but it was very busy and we had a long table, so we couldn't hear each other talk. So after our meal, we moved out to one of the tables in the Atrium and discussed our previous book (Blob: A Love Story by Maggie Su - we all felt rather "meh" about it.
From me, clockwise: Jennifer, Caro, Yvonne, Rosanna, Mindy, Ciara and Cat. Love you all!

Leaving you with two very snoozy kittens.
