Not that I've been delaying wearing it - there are only so many days, and I have a lot of dresses!
- Silk/cotton dress - COS, consignment; last worn here in June 2024 with snake-print shoes
- Shoes - Prepare Guide, Fluevog; last seen here (2nd outfit) for a July brunch
My love for fit-and-flare dresses has waned somewhat from my heyday of 10 years or so ago, but I still like them, especially when I get an intriguing shape like this.
It's a mullet-bell! Or we just call it a cocoon, which is what I've done since I got it 4+ years ago.
Incognito and wearing my long narrow scarf as sun coverage.
I knotted each end to make a loop like a cuff, and voila! I have a pair of sleeves that keep the sun off my arms and the back of my neck.
And I don't have to wear a coat!
Just the thought of it makes me break out in a sweat! Accoutrements and stuff:
I pulled the coral dress, thought of the necklace, and then the shoes joined it. Just like that, outfit built.
