Based on the Belt: Grey and Red

Today's outfit was based around my belt, so Space Theme it shall be! 

When you have a belt that's very distinctive, you've got to start there. 

• Wool/blend jacket - Sassoon, vintage 70s, thrifted; first worn here in February 2025 for a murderous Mom-Day
• Blouse - L'Wren Scott, "A Tropical Conversation," FW 2011, thrifted; last seen here (3rd outfit) in February 2025 under my Kenzo tiger dress
• Wool-blend tweed trousers - PartTwo, thrifted; last worn here in October 2025 with a corduroy duster/dress
• Boots - Powerhouse Jyoti, Fluevog; last seen here in December 2025 with an artsy cardi 
• Coat (below) - L'Atiste, consignment, Vancouver; last worn here in December 2025 

I looked for something that was belt-friendly and remembered that this grey blazer likes being belted. 

This rblouse hadn't been worn yet this season, and ooh, I like how all the red bits come out of it at the neck and sleeves! I put my bracelets over the extra-long cuffs.

The trousers feel like a cheat - they're elastic waist with big pockets. The pattern is herringbone. 

The kittens help me quite a lot in the morning...

Another warm day.

I was sweating by the time I got to work.

• Silver/gold bracelet - JPA, vintage fair
• Silver "wings" ring - consignment
• Silver/crystal ring - Soul Flower
• Pearl/crystal ear-ball - Swarovski, gift from L (I lost the other pearl)
• Silver chain/circle earring - consignment

Storm troopers! The Star Wars logo depresses and unlocks the seat-belt clasp. Just like a seat belt. 

This appears to be an older design. 

But their belts sell for $32.00. 

At least it was licensed. 

I laughed when I realized that Buckle-Down Belts caters to men. 

Hey, that's why belts are adjustable. 

Girls can be Darth too! Darth Sheila! 

And now, the two little furry boys return. 

"I'm sleeping..."

Not for long. 

"You should stay home and we'll play all day."

Sounds wonderful! Hey, get out of there, buddy. 

"I like this place."

He is very fond of the tub. This one had to come see what was up.

"He's in the tub!"
