I knew I'd need some armour and comfort, so I styled up my new-to-me brown nylon skirt with a snuggly wool sweater.
- Wool sweater - Missoni Sport, vintage 90s, consignment; first worn here for a Mom-Day in November 2025
- Lace mesh top - Culture; last seen here (3rd outfit) under a red velvet gown for our Hallowe'en party in November 2025
- Skirt - Surrealist, consignment, Powell River; purchased here for $39.00 last week
- Shoes - MJUS, consignment; last worn here in September 2025 with pleats and stripes
- Suede jacket (below) - Pioneer Wear, vintage 80s, thrifted; last seen here in March 2025
This lovely blue/tan/cream/brown zig-zag sweater needed to be worn again. I wore a full long-sleeved thin top underneath (I chose a black lace one) to keep from being itchy - I don't mind a little tickle from wool, so that worked perfectly.
The folds and flaps on the skirt were fun to play with, and my colleagues admired it (and my shoes, which always get a lot of love).

I pushed it again weather-wise, but layering this suede over the thick sweater kept me plenty warm.
I draped my coat over the back of my chair so it could be seen in meetings and so I could shake the fringe.

A few snuggly bits and I'm good to go.
The extra pockets in the skirt were awesome for holding my phone.

The boys almost exclusively sleep on L's couch with him in the evenings.
"I like your knees!" "I'll be sleeping on you at 4am and you know it."
Heh, I get my time, it's true.
Such a funny boy!

I love that zig zag sweater, and the overall combinations work really well. That is the cutest photo of the "boys", looking wise and inscrutable. Barnabas is really working on his poses, isn't he?
ReplyDeleteWhat a poser haha! Love the skirt. Perfect for your collection as it is going to work so well in your sporty 'uniform' too.
