Yellow Sunshine and Burgundy Fringe

Woo, back to work after a long weekend, and I must've missed the memo that everyone is on vacation! There were very few folks in the office.
It was gloomy out, but I brought my own sunshine! Bright yellow pants!

  • Fringed kimono - Forever 21, thrifted; last seen here (3rd outfit) in February as a topper for a party outfit
  • Mesh top - Calvin Klein, thrifted; purchased here for $14.95
  • Trousers - Banana Republic, consignment; first worn here in June with a sparkly top
  • Shoes - Zoomies Ishshoes, Fluevog; last seen here in May with a maxi-bomber

I immediately paired this new-to-me mesh top with these yellow trousers.
I'd been wanting to wear them again.

I fished this fringed kimono out of the Limbo bag (that lives beside my closet) last night.
Riiiight, I remember why I put it there. It's overwhelming.

I mean, I love this! Velvet, fringe and pattern!
But it just took over the outfit. Back to Limbo you go, fringy!

Incognito.
I don't think I'm keeping the pants either. This high paper-bag waist isn't right on my body, and I have other pairs I like better.

The stuff:
I'm still happy with all this stuff, though! I still love these shoes (the entire heel is rubber, very squishy).

  • Belt - Banana Republic, thrifted

Gold bling:
I like the weight of the necklace.

  • Necklace - thrifted
  • Eelskin bangle - fake Gucci, Italy, gift from Mom & Dad
  • Crystal chain bracelet - thrifted
  • Brass leopard ring - thrifted
  • Gold/amethyst ring - Frances Jewelers, c. 1965, Dad's
  • Earrings - thrifted
