Rebounding from yesterday's Bad Blouse, I styled up my "pea" dress in shades of blue. Very soothing.
I love this shade of pea green.
- Mesh top - Mexx, vintage 90s, thrifted; last seen here in April in my last outfit of the season
- Dress - Trina Turk, consignment; last worn here (2nd outfit) last June for L's birthday lunch with Mom
- Boots - Original Sabado, Fluevog; last seen here (2nd outfit) in March with sequined plaid for brunch
I also like the interesting construction, with the deep pleats on the front.
I always layer a top under it.
Isn't the back cool?
Love that.
Incognito.
I needed the scarf to keep my hair from being blown all over.
The stuff:
Bluesy bling:
You may be gasping that I'm wearing boots. Crazy weather! The temps dropped by 10 degrees, and did I mention the wind?
- Silk scarf - Yves Saint Laurent, vintage 80s, consignment
- Moth brooch - vintage fair
- Bee brooch - consignment
I wore all my eelskin bangles on one arm.
- All 3 x eelskin hinged bangles - vintage 80s, thrifted

- Scarab ring - Heidi Daus, vintage mall, gift from L
- Snake earrings - Betsey Johnson, gift from L
On the other was this hinged bracelet.
So pretty! - Enameled bracelet - Lauren G. Adams, consignment
Kitties in the heat.
"Too hot."
It's hot on the deck still. Enjoy it, sun bears!

Super cute funky outfit. Love it!

DeleteSuch neat components of a totally colour coordinated outfit! Love Barnabas with his curly tail and Whateley looks as peaceful as I was yesterday, when I took a nap on the couch while listening to the soft wind in the trees outside the open window.
ReplyDeleteI'm envious of your nap! Thank you!
DeleteSurprise! I’m here instead of just on Substack. I love blue and green together, and those tights are so cool. Mesh was a thing in the 90s? I was busy momming so I barely remember them. We had one hail of a hailstorm last night…ripped my plants to shreds and upset the dog so much he vomited! More to come today and even worse. But, it is nice and cool. I’m sure the heat will follow along with its buddy, humidity! Have a fab day!

Good to see you, Marsha! Yes, mesh was a thing then, although I didn't wear it then. I was busy partying!
DeleteOh dear, I hope the weather settles down for you soon! Thanks!
So lovely colours and fab styling again!, lovely dress with such an interesting shape, and lovely textures too, the tights, the top, those fabulous boots (even if the idea of wearing boots gets me a hot flash, we're having 35ºC!). I'm admiring your gorgeous jewellery and accessories again!. So gorgeous!

Thank you, Monica! Yeah, it was cool enough to wear boots - not for long!
DeleteLoing those sun bears!
ReplyDeleteThe blue and green look so zingy and vibrant together and you absolutely rock a headscarf.
We've had that weird weather, too - I wore a jacket and boots last Friday! xxx
Sun bears are the best!
DeleteI know, so weird. I don't know what to wear from day to day!
