Unfortunately, I lost all my outfit pictures - my camera's memory card gave up the ghost, so I'll be remedying that pretty quick. Fortunately, I'd taken some selfies for my Substack, so that's what you get.
I got home quite late from Mom's and once I realized I'd lost all my pictures, everything had been put away, and I just could not face getting dressed again, or pulling all the pieces out. I apologize, and hope you can get an idea of the outfit!
It was lovely and sunny by the end of the day!
The maple leaves in the foreground are turning yellow.
I built the outfit around the new-to-me tan waistcoat, which perfectly picked out the tan/brown in the blue print mesh top. From there, wide white jeans and sneakers. I felt very Diane Keaton.

I did a selfie in the reflection of a storefront while waiting for the bus. There's my tabard - just the front and back, no sides! - and my vintage leather purse with the gold fringe.
You can't see the long fringed star-print scarf hanging off my belt, sadly. I loved how both the tabard and the scarf blew in the wind.

It's been chilly for a couple of days but the boys have still been going out on the deck right after their breakfast.
They looked cold, but persisted.
I do like that as the weather gets cooler, they become more cuddly.
Funny how that happens...

Not many birds, but I did get the Northern Tanager for my Life List! Very exciting.

Mom's on her second or third round of the next neighbour's house.
Due to the crappy weather, we decided to work on a puzzle. The 1000 piece porch/dog puzzle or the blue dragon 500 piece.
Duh, of course, I went for the dragon!
I'd noticed Mom's stereo in her sewing area, and remembered that I'd bought her a bunch of her old favourite albums from my childhood.
Gosh, look at that: dual cassette and a CD player! Awesome!
We listened to Helen Reddy, John Denver, Roger Whittaker and Elton John, singing along.
Five hundred pieces is nothing to us! We stopped after an hour and had pizza for lunch.
And then went back to it! We finished!
It was pretty easy, but took about an hour longer than my usual visit.
Off to catch a bus!

That's a very large lizard! And she's got...popcorn?
I got home quite late to two very cranky kitties.
"Feed us."

Sorry to hear that you lost your photos. That can be so disappointing. We had a "Rules of the Inn" poster years ago which was similar and included, "no boots to be worn in bed"!

Ah, it's more annoying than anything. Oh, so funny - I have seen several of these around in pubs here.

Oof on the lost photos. I know others who suffered the same or similar loss (I might be among them…) and it is frustrating. Still, you were able to have the best pics which were of you and your Mom and your visit, so smiles for that!
