My colleagues were all very impressed with my ginormous floofy sleeves.
- Blouse - WoWo, consignment, Vancouver; purchased here for $130.00
- Mesh shirt - AWear, vintage 90s, thrifted; last worn here (2nd outfit) in September 2025 for brunch
- Trousers - Long Tall Sally, consignment; last seen here in March with my baroque blouse
- Shoes - Ishshoes, Fluevog; last worn here in August 2025 with sunshine yellow and burgundy
I steamed out the creases in the sleeves and look how big they got!
I felt a little bit mariachi "cha cha cha" in them and ended up shoving them up to my elbows to better show my jewelry.
Incognito.
It was a gorgeous sunny day - no coat worn!
You can just see the patterned orange/pink mesh long-sleeved top under it. I like the options for wearing different things under it...and over it, which is likely what I'll try next time.
The stuff:
As I walked to the restaurant for lunch in these heels, I thought of my newly-bought white shoes. These are still fine for the office...but they are on a limited time left in my closet.

It's good to have all of my greens back (did you notice my green socks?). The Jello Shot necklace returns! More orange!

Carrying Barnabas (which he loves) and looking around for Whateley.
There's no Mom-Day tomorrow, as I have to prepare for my Limbo Sale this weekend! I'll be back on Friday - see you then!

I wondered how long it would take you to get into that "floofy" sleeved blouse. I could tell it was really calling to you when you bought it. I can see that no one could ever ignore anything said in a meeting by someone in "floofy" sleeves! Rock on!
ReplyDeleteOh yah, Rock On (quoting Bushlady) as this outfit requires people to stop and take a good look - it's all about the color and that wild blouse! As soon as you said mariachi I nodded in complete agreement. :-) The Jello Shot necklace is the perfect accouterment and the picture of Barnabas and Whateley is the perfect segue into Limbo Prep! Good luck with the sale - here's hoping visitors wind up with hauls they will love and you wind up with cash for your next few shopping outings! Cheers, Laurie
ReplyDeleteHappy Admin Professionals Day! I love how you put together such creative, yet fully professional, looks for the workplace. If there were a Style Hall of Fame for people who work in office settings, you’d be my nominee. It’s so much harder to really express yourself within the constraints of business attire, and you do it so beautifully.
