Ugh, Monday, and a full week too! I clad myself in neon to wake me up.
It's just as neon in person!
- Bomber jacket - Maison Scotch, consignment, Vancouver; last seen here in April 2025 with this same skirt
- Top - Bella Dahl, consignment, Powell River; purchased here for $18.00
- Skirt - Oska, consignment; last worn here in February with the Thousand Dollar Sweater
- Shoes - Down to Earth Hadfield, Fluevog; last seen here (3rd outfit) in September 2025 for a shop at Turnabout
- Leather coat (below) - Naturel, consignment; first worn here in March
This is only the third time I've worn this bomber, but I still like it. The bright neon orange, the mossy green.
It's hard to see it, but each sleeve has a beaded ruffle down the length of it.
I didn't take the jacket off, but I'm always prepared, just in case.
I totally missed out on wearing this white top that I bought last summer in Powell River! I'd stashed it away for the fall/winter. Silly me. Incognito.
There was rain in the forecast, so I prepared by wearing a hood. It didn't rain, though - it was blustery! - and my crinkly skirt billowed.

A couple of kitty pictures from Friday night.
"Bring back the Man or this wall gets it."
They don't like it when one of us is gone.
"I want the Man!"
There was much ecstatic purring when L got home.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Who knew it was true for cats as well!
ReplyDeleteAs a result of seeing many of your bomber jackets, and because this orange one looks lighter weight and filled with ‘spring shine’, I am starting to lust after finding a bomber jacket! Something lighter weight or more relaxed than either my dark jean jacket or my lovely cropped pink patterned jean jacket (purchased second hand online years ago thanks to a recommendation by you. :-) ) I think a bomber would be a nice upgrade from my utilitarian (and thus, am not reaching for it much if at all) green zip fleece. It’s blah.
Love your skirt! The crinkles have me thinking of My Fair Lady. Not sure what Eliza wore before she got a wardrobe upgrade but that’s where my mind went this morning. :)
Cheers, Laurie
That's a cute patterned jacket. I thought of you today when my inbox had a flyer from a fashion house showing a cream skirt with a balloon bottom that was just your sort of skirt! Not sure if it had pockets, though. 😀 Of course you would need to find it in a thrift store, to really enjoy one like that. Thrifting is so much more fun!
ReplyDeleteWilliam's always extremely fussy when we've been out for the night, too. It's true that absense makes the heart grow fonder.
ReplyDeleteLoving the vibrancy of your bmber jacket and the shape of that skirt is pure art. xxx
Love that skirt, such an interesting shape and texture, and you styled it so fabulously, love the matching shades and the copper jewellery!
