This thin tee slipped between two purses - I nearly forgot about it! I picked out the colours - the orange blazer was a perfect match.
I liked the pop of the pink belt and the soft purple of the shoes. Outerwear - I was cold, but I wanted to get a wearing in of my tabard.
I might not wear it again until spring!

Kitten pictures!
L and I played a couple of board games on Sunday afternoon.
Whateley decided to sleep next to me. Barnabas was on L's side, but I couldn't see him as well.

Whateley’s face! Your purple shoes! The rich color of the gloves and beret (recently thrifted, I believe)! The entire combination of color, classiness and funkiness! If it isn’t already obvious, this outfit rocks and you look quite comfortable in it. And I like the purple glow of your lights.
ReplyDeleteColor + Comfort = how to feel good in fall & winter.
Cheers, Laurie
We call that Whatley's "alien face" - he looks so strange! No, this purple beret is very old, had it for over 10 years! I did thrift a darker plum one but haven't worn it yet. This was a fun outfit! As I won't be decorating this year (guess why??), I have my mini-lights to give us colour in the gloom.
DeleteThanks so much, Laurie!
A short week and a long weekend is how it should be!
ReplyDeleteThose mock croc FRNCH pants are something else indeed. By coincidence, I passed a FRNCH shop here in Antwerp yesterday and was wondering why the name sounded familiar.
I'm loving the unexpected pops of purple with your outfit. Those shoes!
Look at those cheeky faces :-) xxx
I would like that EVERY week! Oh, that's funny that the pants made it al the way over here! I enjoyed the pops of purple. The shoes are wonderful - I walked to and from work in them.
DeleteThey are very cheeky!
You always look so cool and you have purple boots!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Hena! I do have purple boots...a couple of pairs...but these aren't them.
DeleteThe tee shirt and the blazer look like they are made for each other, and the rest of the outfit complements them with a surprise element. I get a kick out of your regular comments about pockets. How can one exist without them? A plague on those pockets that are not deep enough or worse still, are completely fake outer decoration, with no entry at all!
ReplyDeleteA good combo discovery! I rage against lack of pockets in women's clothing - it's so annoying when a garment doesn't have ANY.
DeleteYour kittens are so beautiful, Sheila! They make me think of Egyptian cats, so elegant and poised.
ReplyDeleteThat orange blazer is gorgeous. Great styling!
Yes, we also think they have that Egyptian look - must've been some good stock somewhere in their family tree!
DeleteThank you!
The blazer and top look like a set! They are lovely. The tabard is really cool! Do you climb into it?
ReplyDeleteThe kitties are such a joy!!! I love their cheekiness!!!
Thanks, Kezzie! The tabard goes on over the head.
DeleteP.S. Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Canadian Thanksgiving is in October, but we celebrate US Thanksgiving with our friends to the south and watch football all day.
DeleteGreat outfit. Love it. And your tabard as well. Can't you think of something with warm sleeves to put underneath the tabard? It is too good not to wear and the cold season is upon us.
ReplyDeleteGreetje
Yes, I'll probably try to get a few more wearings out of it, but it's a little chilly with the sides and arms exposed.
