Dragonscale Regret-Me-Not

No time like the present to get in a wearing of my last regret-me-not!
I'm boggled that I put this gorgeous skirt into Limbo.

  • Linen blazer - H&M, thrifted; last seen here in August 2025 with this same red top for a Mom-Day at Rithet's Bog
  • Sleeveless top - Anne Klein, thrifted; last worn here in December 2025 under an artsy cardigan
  • Silk skirt - Strawberry Jill, thrifted; last seen here in January with pink and olive
  • Shoes - Seychelles, consignment; last worn here (2nd outfit) in June 2025 for a haircut

A lovely Castle view today.
The trees are nearly in full leaf.

Most of my regret-me-nots eventually end up back in Limbo, but I think this one's a keeper.
I paired it with red and a light linen blazer. I felt very profesh!

I resolved to name the skirt the Koi skirt, but nope, my brain insists on calling it Dragonscale.
Such a work of art!

Oops, I forgot to show you the back of the blazer.
I've blown the colour out a bit so you can see the detail.

Without the jacket - I took it off in the morning after I huffed up the stairs.
I wore the blazer all day once I'd cooled down, though.

Incognito.
This is such a nice blazer - I've only worn it a couple of times, but the quality is amazing. I'm always shocked that it's H&M. It must be OLD H&M - can you imagine a linen blazer with pockets and back detail? It even has wee shoulder pads!

The stuff:
This silk scarf works really well in my hair and keeps it from looking like a rat's nest after my walk.

  • Silk scarf - Lanvin, vintage, thrifted

Turquoise bling:
I enjoyed this mix of colours, all driven by the multi-stone bracelet (a treasure).

  • Ladybug brooch - consignment
  • Semi-precious stone/silver bracelet - Salt Spring Island, c. 1998?, gift from L
  • Hinged bird eelskin bangle - vintage 80s, consignment
  • Stone turquoise bracelet - thrifted, Sidney
  • Silver/turquoise rings - consignment
  • Gold-tone/turquoise ring - consignment
  • Ear-balls - Sziska, thrifted, Sidney

Kitties on the deck!
"You could stay with us."

Sitting with my boys all day? I totally would if I could.
"I love this bench!"

Barnabas is such a sun-lover!

I'll be back tomorrow with Mom-Day! See you soon.

  1. I love this skirt. A keeper for sure. I see it with a band tee as well for your 'casual uniform'. Jewellery is gorgeous, as are the kitties!

  2. Whateley is irresistible with that pose and expression! I think you are spot on with what he is thinking. 🐱😻
Yay for retrieving this beauty of a skirt from Limbo! Its a conversation piece and would prompt me to want to touch it. I’m admiring the turquoise bracelet and the ear balls, which are visually pleasing from the front and back, and the size of the backs insure they won’t get lost!
Here’s to a wonderful day with your Mom! Cheers, Laurie

  3. I was surprised that you had even thought of moving that skirt along! Pairing it with turquoise is fantastic.

Nice to see that it’s deck season for you and the boys. Spring is longer in coming out here in the northeast US. Soon, though!

  6. That skirt had no right to be in Limbo! I'm so glad you decided to keep it. I was surprised to see the design on the back of the jacket, so neat. I feel sure the cats think they really lucked out when they came to live with you and L. How lovely to have a comfortable bench on a deck for them to enjoy the sunshine!
