Whew, Wednesday at last. Knowing I'd be on autopilot in the morning, I picked out everything last night before I crashed into bed.
A Jammy Dress was a natural choice.
- Turtleneck sweater - Papillon, thrifted; last worn here (2nd outfit) in October for a Mom-Day
- Wool blend dress - Bodybag by Jude, consignment; last seen here in November 2024 with a white shirt
- Patent leather boots - F-Trip Etta, Fluevog; last worn here with plaid and a tux jacket earlier this month
- Suede coat (below) - Tadmor, vintage 60s, vintage mall; last seen here earlier this month
I layered a thin sweater under it and I was good to go. I was okay with the nyloned legs, but I looking at the pictures I would have gone with a grey or sheer black tights.
"Are you talking to me?"
Oh, you were just waiting for me to see you, weren't you, Whateley?
Of course, we have to have a quick cuddle. It's hard to keep them still!
Happy yellow boots! The plaid dress has a thin line of yellow in it.
The dress is pretty simple, but it has pockets.
And a satin lining. It's very cozy and snuggly to wear. Outerwear. For the second day in a row, I was late to work because of a double dump-truck backing into a construction site.
I waved at all the workers and thank them - I see them every day.

I walked to and from work in these boots - they are very comfy.

Colleague Christopher admired my necklace. "It's the same one I wore last week!"- Silver/gold cuff - JPA, vintage fair

- Silver/kyanite ring - consignment
- Silver/lapis lazuli ring - Wendy Brandes

This morning, the kittens were digging around in my belt and scarf boxes, under my Stuff photo area.
The little feet!
I'll be back tomorrow with Mom-Day!

Poking about in your scarf and belt boxes, eh…sounds like they aren't nibblers so that's a definite plus! ;-)
ReplyDeleteAh, nothing like the comfort and ease of a jammy dress, especially a plaid and especially when it can be worn with super yellow patent leather booties!
Enjoy your Mom day today! Hi Helen!
Cheers, Laurie
They aren't nibblers, but they do grab at anything dangling - I've found the camera down the hallway being batted around more than once!
DeleteThank you, Laurie!
The camera! Egads…did they manage to accidentally take a picture? That would possibly be a first in cat antics!
DeleteCheers, Laurie
Not yet! Their mischief has increased quite a bit, though!
DeleteThey are so cheeky and obviously appreciate your fabulous wardrobe as much as we do! xxx
ReplyDeleteHa, they definitely like grabbing at things! Thanks, Vix!
DeleteThat looks like a cosy dress to wear with a sweater layered underneath, and here in Ontario I would be choosing heavier black tights with it to stay warm! I just love that scarf. Enjoy your Mom day.
ReplyDeleteEek, I would also have worn black/grey tights with this - my brain went on auto-pilot in the morning and grabbed nylons, but my legs felt too bare. Thank you!
DeleteThat's one perfect jammy dress but the yellow boots are everything! Swoon!
ReplyDeleteAnd oh, there's another one of my favourite coats, too.
Barnabas and Whateley are such cheeky devils but they look like butter wouldn't melt! xxx
Aren't they fabulous, Ann? I need to wear them more. The coat is one of my faves too - perfect on a crisp fall day.
DeleteCheeky is a good word for them - they love to get into things!
Fabulous booties! And coat. Oh what would the world be without cats!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Nancy! That would be a sad, cold world. I need cats!
DeleteLove those yellow boots. The outfit is giving me sixties vibes. I'm thinking Austin Powers aesthetic in the best way possible.
ReplyDeleteYou kittens are born to be stars!
Aw, I love that - yes, Mod! Thanks so much!
DeleteGreat outfit, gloriously finished by those magnificent ankle boots. LOVE them.
