I layered a mid-weight cotton turtleneck under this gorgeous vintage 70s corduroy dress.
The dress is fully-lined, from neck to hem to tip of sleeves, so it sat nicely over the sweater.

ReplyDeleteHa, I just noted the beauty of belts in yesterday’s outfit comment and here’s another example to cement the role of belts in enhancing an outfit! Plus another bit of proof for building up a belt wardrobe. I’m smitten by this outfit - the colors, individual pieces, the drape and proportions of the dress, the fact that it is fully lined, the accessories and jewelry, all of it! Like you, this is an outfit I would easily and comfortably wear. Cheers, Laurie

What a gorgeous cord dress. Those high green boots are so cool and the coloured thighs are always fun. I also love your accessories. Your cats are beautiful. So amazing they are almost a year old. There's something regal about them, I wonder if they have some Egyptian Mau blood.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of cats, I found out a bit more about the cat that hangs in front of my door today. I named her Coco. Today a cousin of mine came to visit me and she told me that this cat used to belong to a man that died a year ago. He lived next door. There is another neighbour next door Coco spends her days with, but she likes me a lot, and loves to sleep next to me. She is always chilling next to me when I'm on the patio. She came inside of the apartment but looked kind of disappointed, she only seems to be interested in the fridge in the apartment, the rest does not interest her. She is afraid of the air conditioner and prefers to be outside. I think she perhaps never fully lived in a house. Maybe she was always an outdoor cat. Some cats are like that, they prefer to live in the garden and outside and only come inside of the house once in a blue moon. I often see her in the vineyard outside my apartment and she is often covered in grass. I think she's an outdoor kind of girl...and she is so big! I don't know if you can see it on the pictures, but she is a big cat.
Grrr, wrote a whole comment yesterday and then my Internet failed and I lost it. I adore the kitty photos, esp the arm reach out!
