There's nothing like walking through ankle or mid-calf deep snow before the plows have been out to clear the sidewalks. I have found that it is easier and less messy to wear skirts instead of pants. Trudging through snow results in wet pants. I wear knee high boots and double up on tights to keep my legs warm.
