Pride Week: All the Colours of the Rainbow

My company celebrates diversity in the workplace and is doing Pride Week activities all week. My desk is covered in rainbow flags - I love it! This week I'll be wearing loads of colour to celebrate and show my support for LGBTQ+.
Flashback to my Alt Pride outfit (here, 2nd outfit) for the parade a couple of years ago - I'm an ally!

  • Dress - Desigual, vintage fair; last seen here in March with orange bits
  • Shoes - Big Presence Earhart, Fluevog; last worn here in May with a floofy flapper look

Today, it's the dress that looks like a top and a skirt. It fools everyone.
This is the easiest outfit ever. Dress + shoes. Done. Okay, I had to think about the belt for a few minutes - I had so many choices!

Most of my outfits this week (yes, of course, they are all planned) are dresses. Easiest outfits ever.
It was warmer today, so I skipped a slip, but I'm still wearing my beige fishnets.

Pockets! Yes!
All these colours get along so well.

Hatted for the sun - the wind has finally dwindled to a light breeze.
Ready to kick some Tuesday butt.

The stuff:
There are no wrong colour combinations when you're wearing every colour of the rainbow. A yellow and black and striped belt, with orange and lilac shoes? Sure!

Rainbow bling:
I think I got all the colours here too! I will also be wearing my rainbow pin all week.

  • Cotton/silk obi belt - Smoking Lily
  • Leather wrap cuff - Catalyst Reaction Leather, thrifted
  • Red leather cuff - Rimanchik
  • Earrings - thrifted
  • Lapis lazuli ring and Fulvia Ring - Wendy Brandes

  1. A fabulous rainbow of an outfit. You don't half suit a hat! x

  7. I love that your company has pride week activities, and this is a perfect outfit to ramp up the celebration! Love this dress, and that there is no writing on it makes it even better. And yes, everything matches when you wear everything! Hahaha.

    1. Me too! It makes me really proud that they're on board with this on a global level.

Yeah, Desigual is bad for writing all over their garments - this dress just has a subtle gold "Desigual" on the back.

  8. This is such a fabulous dress, Sheila! I love the colours and mix of patterns in the one dress. It looks great worn with the obi too. I adore those shoes too! XXX

  10. I agree with Mel - I like some of Desigual's patterns but I wish they wouldn't write all over their clothing. I'm glad they resisted for this dress. Even with so many colours in the dress, the yellow of the belt still "Pops" - good choice!

    1. I know! I hate that they do that. They also tend to decorate only the fronts of their clothes, which irritates the heck out of me. Thank you!
