Pagodas, Purple and Pink (and Pain)

Nothing new in this outfit - and very few labels, too! I wanted to wear this blazer one more time, to decide if I want to keep it.
I'm probably not going to keep it. There is only so much room in my closet, and I keep finding pretty things.

  • Blazer - handmade, vintage 80s, thrifted; first worn here in April with lavender booties
  • Sleeveless sweater - Gap, thrifted; last seen here (4th outfit) in June for a stroll to town
  • Skirt - no label, thrifted; last worn here in May with the jelly-deer top
  • Shoes - Wonders; last seen here (2nd outfit) with denim and pink pattern in May

The blazer is also very heavily 80s, which can only go so far. I do prefer this outfit over last time I wore it, though - this little lavender skirt is the perfect accompaniment to it.
I had to go back to the dentist mid-afternoon, to get my infection checked on. It's feeling much better. Understandably, I was a tad shocked when my dentist informed me he was going to drill into the back of my tooth and get at another pocket of goop that was living in a little apartment between my gold post (of my implant) and my jaw. Oh, yes, fine, go right ahead!

I went back to work with a numb face, and stayed late to make up the time. There's some sort of tooth-caulking blocking up the hole, so I'm sure there is another appointment in my near future. Jeez, I am just done with all of this! What a pain teeth are!

/rant...
*ahem* Keeping my promise to myself to wear a hat daily. Sort of.

The stuff:
I have two pairs of pink metallic shoes, including these! I'll be wearing my new Fluevogs tomorrow! Must figure out what to wear with them so that they are the schtar of the outfit...

Set of bling:
I love that (aside from the earrings), all of these POLY pieces were sourced separately. That's very satisfying.

  • Necklace - Shi Studios
  • Pendant - POLY, thrifted
  • Cuff - POLY, thrifted
  • Ring - POLY, vintage fair
  • Earrings - late 90s

  1. It's a shame as it's a lovely blazer but if you've gotten use and enjoyment from it better to let it go on to give someone else the joy I thinK !Now why can't I see my own wardrobe that way, haha!

Sorry to hear about all the dental work - hope you're not in too much pain!

    1. I can always visit it in pictures! I don't regret giving it up. Thanks, hon, it's fine - just a nuisance more than anything else.

  2. I had not seen you wear that blazer in a while. I can feel the 80s vibe but can also relate to the fact that new prettier things are always coming into the closet and you need the space!

  3. This IS a good pairing....but I understand about room in the closet. Have I ever told you that I like your "happy glasses"? They make me smile every time I see you.

  4. Nice outfit, excellent shoes. I love a good platform but the color is really the "schtar", to borrow your word.

  5. So, this skirt and sandal combo are spot on Sheila. The length of the skirt is perfect for this height of sandal showcasing your lovely pins perfectly.

Your toothy-tales are scary, especially as I think I have something equally gruesome brewing currently...
