I'm All Fuzzy

And...I'm on vacation! Two whole days off. And yes, I got the frickin-frackin' Christmas tree up. Success!
Since today was my Friday, I did a more casual vibe. Time for neon yellow sneakers!

  • Sweater - Lord & Taylor, thrifted; last worn here (2nd outfit) in March for a weekend brunch
  • Skirt - Talbots, thrifted; last seen here (2nd outfit) at the end of March for another brunch
  • Shoes - Ash; purchased here on the weekend for $10.00 new!
  • Coat (below) - Danier Leather

Today's post title brought to you by my coworker, Emily, who said, "Ooh, fuzzy sweater," then when she spotted my fuzzy wool skirt, exclaimed, "You're all fuzzy!" Indeed, I am.

If you looked back at the last time I wore this cashmere turtleneck sweater, you'll see that I'm basically wearing the exact same outfit, but with these yellow shoes. The tights matched perfectly!
I really loved wearing these shoes all day. I'm sure some of you loathe them, and that's okay - I'm the one who's wearin' 'em!

Outerwear:
Purple and yellow in the thick of autumn? Yes, of course! My beret (consignment) and leather gloves (Danier), plus my grey fur scarf. I didn't quite need all of this - we still haven't had any really cold weather yet - but it was not too warm.

The stuff:
These were perfect shoes for all the running around I did all day. A woman's got to wear shoes that work with her life. Neon yellow helps. I have sunshine on my feet!

Barely-there bling:
I didn't want to have any rings get scratched from decorating the tree.

  • Earrings - vintage fair

A very happy Thanksgiving to my US readers and friends! I will be watching football all day tomorrow (I'm off to make chili now), followed by my WW meeting, and then on Friday we are going to a couple of events. And Saturday is my company's annual Christmas gala (I have an awesome dress for it!). I'll be back on Sunday!

  2. Yes, lovely outfit. Brilliant tights. I'm not a fan of 'trainers' as we call them here in the UK, but as you say you're the one wearing them. They are a fab colour though and I absolutely love your leather jacket.

    Enjoy your extended break

  4. Well my dear fuzzy friend, I love the bright tights here and those sneakers ! They remind me of the high top black Reeboks I had back in the day.

  6. Am mega excited about the tights and shoes combo - this is exactly what I would have done with those trainers, I think yellow and purple are fab for autumn, nothing out of place here I'd say. I'm keen to see the dress for the upcoming party!
    See you soon
