Purple Brocade and Florals

It was so dark and gloomy this morning! It's like, September's here? Then, Bam! In your face, summer, you are done like dinner.
Delicate flower that I am, I wore a coat today (not the furry one - too hot!). I neglected to photograph it, but it was my red leather Danier coat (this one).

  • Blouse - Violet + Claire, thrifted; last worn here in July with pink leather and purple mules
  • Skirt - Beloved, thrifted; purchased here on the weekend for $4.50
  • Shoes - Miista; last seen here (3rd outfit) in July with the purple lace dress of this past weekend

Phew! My break at work (where it's been nice and chill and quiet for over a month) - it's over! It was insanely busy today. I forgot how busy it can be. Good thing I had a comfy outfit on!

First wearing of this skirt, and I have to say...loved it. Vizzini also loved going after the tassels.
I wore nylons again due to the chill of the morning. I definitely prefer having my legs covered.

The stuff:
Good shoes for walking - I went to the other office today then out for dinner after work with Janet.

  • Flower pin/clip - Roberta's Hats
  • Earrings - thrifted
  • Lapis lazuli ring - Wendy Brandes

I clipped the flower onto the rope belt. I felt I needed more flowers!

  1. Beautiful combination with the blouse and skirt together, and the flower on the belt is a really nice touch too! :) Hope it's a fun kind of busy at work, not a stressful kind of busy :)

    1. I do love my purples! It's raining down here right now, Pam - I am guessing it's more of the same up-Island! Thanks!
