Texture with the Perfect Leopard Pencil Skirt

Today was all about the texture. And keeping warm - it was cold and rainy this morning!
But by afternoon, it was sunny and hot again.

  • Top - Hommage Los Angeles, consignment; last seen here (3rd outfit) in March for Easter at Mom's
  • Skirt - Lord & Taylor; purchased here on the weekend (with a gift card!) for $26.70
  • Shoes - Fugitive, thrifted; last worn here with a taupe leather dress in September 2015

I was happy to get another wear out of this top - it's a little too warm for summer. The more I wear it, the fluffier it gets!
And my first wearing of this new leopard fuzzy pencil skirt. Perfect! I declare thee: Perfect Leopard Pencil Skirt. I had vacillated between the petite and the regular sizing of this skirt; the petite was shorter and hit my hips at the right spot, and the regular was about 3 inches longer, but not as good at the waist. I went with the petite.

The stuff:
Yay, I love these canvas and leather shoes! I'm so happy to have them back in the closet after the winter. You can still faintly see the "10.00" writing on the inside of the heel. Guess what I paid for them?

Bronze and silver bling:
I actually wore another ring, but I forgot to take it off for the picture.

  • Earrings - thrifted
  • Cuff - POLY, thrifted
  • Ring - POLY, vintage fair
  • Spinner ring - Twang & Pearl
  • Missing ring - P. Sarpaneva, vintage expo

  1. That is a lovely pencil skirt :) I want to get a nice printed pencil skirt when I'm back in the office. The one I have is pretty, but not the best fit.

  3. I'm a huge fan of a fluffy top and this one looks fab. The skirt in petite fits so well and is indeed pretty perfect too! These two make a really great outfit, you look stunning x

  4. Wonderful outfit! I really (!) like the grey accessories. We've had scads upon scads of rain around these parts in recent weeks, so I can definitely relate.
