All The Colours!

I'm back! Back to colours, that is! I know, you hardly recognized me yesterday in all my black.
A very summery-feeling wintery outfit!

  • Cardigan - Jacob, thrifted; last worn here (3rd outfit) with yellows in August
  • Top - Cable and Gauge; thrifted; last seen here in the exact same outfit (I'm so original)
  • Skirt - Andre Courreges, thrifted; last worn here in August with more cashmere
  • Shoes - Big Presence Desmond, Fluevog; last seen here earlier this month with mod morange

I basically just pulled out a bunch of colours that sort of matched the necklace. Good thing I have All The Colours!
After a 10.5 hour day, I am beat. Tomorrow, I'm off for our traditional yes-we're-Canadian-but-we-take-US-Thanksgiving-off-to-watch-football day. That needs a shorter and catchier name. I'm open to suggestions.

The stuff:
Woo! Those are bright shoes!

  • Earrings - Stella and Dot, consignment
  • Necklace - consignment

Note that the earrings are actually bright green - not a colour in the necklace. They don't have to match...they just have to go!

A very happy Thanksgiving to my US friends and readers - I am thankful to know such a lovely group of like-minded folks. You all rock, in the best way! I'll be back on Sunday - and I'll have a party outfit to show off!

  1. What a great way to build an outfit, straight from your necklace. I have a similar necklace and think I'll give it a go too. I love these orange shoes (orange is my favourite colour) and am searching for Fluevog here in the UK, but only finding odd ones on eBay. Anyway, back to your ensemble. It's lovely to see all of these colours together without it being summer - sometimes we just need a colour injection and this works 100%. Matching hair and sweater is such a cool look too.

  4. This is a color combination that I would definately try and now that I think of it - can probably replicate with all those rich hues.

  5. Loving all the blocks of colour, it's a great way of adding loads of interest without print. Although that said, I'm really taken with the black outfit too, it's unusual for you but very elegant and it's good to change it up! xxx

  6. Might I suggest "Football Knows No Nation" day? :P
