Stripes and Circles

Unlike yesterday's Forgotten Dress, I have been eagerly looking forward to wearing this dress again.
Pow! Turquoise! Bam! Yellow!

  • Dress - Jacob, thrifted; first worn here in May with blue suede Fluevogs
  • Shoes - Prepare Guide, Fluevog; last worn here (2nd outfit) in May for Mental Health Week

I had a pretty busy day, followed by a haircut. I am shorn! And I'm re-dyeing my hair purple so that I will be just right for the blogger meet-up.
Only two weeks to go!

The stuff:
I love these shoes so much. I walked to and from our other office, to my hair appointment, and back to the bus stop and my feet are singing.

Geometric bling:
Circles, parallelograms, planes.

  • Belt - vintage 80s, thrifted
  • Cuff - thrifted
  • Earrings - vintage 50s Bakelite, vintage fair

I'm taking a quiet weekend with L, so I'll be back on Sunday. Have a lovely weekend!

  1. Love the bright accessories with this! :)

I think stripes are my favourite print - so easy to wear and everything seems to compliment them! :)

  3. Sheila, that dress loves you. You need to have it in frequent rotation.

  4. I love those shoes too!! There is a shop in Courtenay now selling Fluevogs but it's a small selection. I suppose that is good news for my bank account as I've yet to see a pair that have my name on them. This dress look great on you and I love the way you've accessorised it. Looking forward to meeting you in a couple of weeks! I will be getting there early on Friday too-taking the float plane from Comox to Vancouver and getting there around 9:30am. I intend to have a relaxing poke around on Robson and probably sit in a cafe for a long time. xoxo

  5. I love the stripes. I see them everything and think, oh, man, I gotta get some stripes. So far, I have not. The yellow is a great accent. I laughed at the hair thing - I need a cut but I want my hair to look its peaky best for the meetup. Heh.
