Blue Monday

Monday, my old foe!
Fortunately, I was prepared! I was in Brownies and Girl Guides for years! I had all kinds of badges...I'm sure one of them was for defeating Mondays.

  • Cardigan - Conrad C., thrifted; purchased here for $12.50
  • Dress - Savvie; last worn here in June 2014 with mixed metal
  • Boots - Marc; last seen here (2nd outfit) in December 2014

I love this little cardigan - it's not as heavy as a jacket, it covers my arms and shoulders, but it doesn't completely swamp my outfit.
This is such a comfy dress - big roomy pockets, great colour, fun style.

The stuff:
These remain one of my favourite pairs of boots, top 5 for sure. Incredibly comfortable.

Textile bling:
This is my first wear of this Shi Studio belt - they make interchangeable belts and buckles. I bought the necklace directly from a sample sale many years ago. It's a similar glass-topped fabric to the belt.

  • Belt/buckle - Shi Studio, thrifted
  • Necklace - Shi Studio
  • Cuff - thrifted
  • Earrings - Glee

I've just finished dyeing my hair after the gym (taking care of myself). Time for some "Antiques Roadshow"!

  1. Very appealing, for Monday or any time! The boots are art - love them. Love Antiques Roadshow too, although I never believe the people who say, "I had no idea what it's worth!" xox

  4. I love the outfit, especially the boots. Question: When you watch Antiques Roadshow, who usually comes closest to guessing the appraised value, you or L?

  5. Melanie, AR is a solo viewing for me - not to L's taste! I like to try to guess the value, but I love just looking at everything.
