"Spring, Please!" Week - Casual Friday - I Missed My Anniversary!

It worked! It's sunny and supposed to go up to 18 degrees (high 60s) and be sunny all weekend. "Spring, Please!" Week has been a success.

In other news, I totally missed my one-year blogging anniversary. I posted my very first outfit on March 30, 2008. In minor celebration, I'm wearing the same top half of the outfit today.
Hmmm. Not the best outfit, but I felt good in it all day. The yellow is actually a very bright sunny, buttercup yellow. Ha, funny to read my old post: bitching about sizing and casual month at work - not much has changed, haha. My hair's gotten a lot longer, though.

The stuff:
My lovely set from Shi Studios (heh, if I keep linking to them, maybe they will offer me one of their gorgeous belts for free).

Have an absolutely fabulous weekend!

Blouse (Do & Be), vest (Kensie Girl), skirt (Smart Set), tights (don't recall), boots (Cougar), jewelry (Shi Studios, gift from Mom).

  4. Hi, Anon - thanks so much. I like my hair all different lengths, but it grows fast, so I like to vary my style a lot.

Bonnie - if only it were actually sunny out now! You have a great weekend too.

Sue, thank you! I dropped you an email just now - I'd love to be interviewed. I'll link to it here as well.

  10. Congratulations on your anniversary! I went back and read the first month posts for lunch today. I was very amused by your frustration with "casual month." I too struggle with casual Friday, so I was interested to see how you handled a whole month. Then, I was tickled to see you give it up after 2 weeks.

  11. Congrats on the anniversary! I have just started blogging and am totally in a rut but I'm not letting it keep me down! I came her to say thank you. I recently found your blog and have finally caught up on all your posts. You are such an amazing woman, and thanks to your inspirational weight loss story...I gymed this morning! It was tough but I did it because I know I can and I know it's so going to be worth it. So thank you!! And keep up the awesomeness :)

Aw, thank you, Lain! I dread casual months - my work keeps springing them upon us. Glad you enjoyed the old stuff!

Hi, and welcome, Kaylyn! Thanks very much for your kind comments. I'm honoured to have been any kind of inspiration - but if you must, remember, if I can do it, you can too!
